I grew up in rural Washington State and my first dog arrived before I did; he'd been a part of the family since before I was born. Buck was the first of my animal companions growing up, but by the time I moved out to go to college, we'd raised several dogs and cats, as well as some chickens, a couple of turkeys, a donkey and a goat. So being surrounded by feathered or four-legged friends is like being around family for me, and caring for animals is second nature.

You can see my best friend in my profile picture. Her name is Mattie McGee and I'd do anything in my power to make her feel happy and safe. My girlfriend rescued Mattie from the streets in 2009 and she's been the focus of our lives ever since. She truly is our fur baby, since we don't have kids.

If I have the privilege of helping to care for your furry friends you can count on the fact that they will be treated love and respect, and that I will treat them as if they are my own family.
