I have experience with a wide range of animals, from your typical cats, dogs, birds, fish and gerbils to the more unusual snakes, goats, African pygmy hedgehogs, chinchillas and more. I rescued and fostered cats for several years, so I am comfortable caring for sick animals and giving medications or injections. I am also happy to provide excellent references.
I don't offer boarding at this time. But if you are wanting your animals to stay in the comfort of their own home, I offer pet sitting anywhere on Kauai for $25/day, plus one round trip Lyft/Uber between Kapaa and your home. After a very bad experience with someone we had watching our own pets, my goal is for YOU to have complete peace of mind while leaving your pets with me. So I am more than happy to send updates and photos daily, if you want. I'll also check the mail, water plants, etc.

Charissa is a lovely person to work with! We had her babysit our son one night. She listened to us and made our son feel comfortable right off the bat. We’d be happy to work with her again!
Charissa is the BEST! She was so accommodating to our family and just has the sweetest, most motherly presence. We were looking for a sitter the last min on our visit to Hawaii so we called her references, who all gave her high praise, and she was able to come the very next day. 5 stars, all the way.
Charissa was amazing with both of my kids. We absolutely loved her. She has an awesome personality and the fact that my kids didn't even make a peep when I left said a lot already. They usually cry their eyes out when I leave for work.
We were new to the island and needed a sitter for the evening. after talking to Charissa for a few minutes I knew she would be the perfect fit. She has also been available last minute when we have needed her. On time and so sweet to our 10 month old son. Thanks Charissa!
Charissa was very warm, friendly and trustworthy. Our baby got along with her very easily. Was very thankful to have her as our first babysitter.
My two young daughters love Charissa. She is very kind, will play with them, take them to the local parks, and will feed them as well. We needed her for Monday nights several weeks in a row and she was always on time and in a great mood. Will def. use her again.
