I believe that pets are happier and less stressed when they stay in their home, and keep as close as possible to their normal routines. In the past I’ve had my pets in the care of a pet sitter when I was away. And I know that it made me feel better knowing that they had their own toys, food, bedding, and comforting reminders of me while I was gone.

Animal lover and pet owner since 1994, I’ve had the pleasure of loving a variety of pets over the years. These include a cat, four dogs, and tropical fish. I’ve had most of these pets as an adult, so I have experience with caring for all types of animals.

I also rode show horses for about two years, and worked part-time as a groom a stable one summer. I have worked with a friend's horse most recently, and took a refresher course in riding english saddle.  I also worked with the horses at the stable where I took my riding lessons.
