I've had dogs and animals ever since I was little. I have two dogs myself and used to feel horrible leaving them at home while I worked, now I work from home and feel I'd like to offer people the same service that I needed while I worked or had to travel. I've watched dogs from big German shepherds to little chihuahuas. I'm also part of a rescue group that fosters dogs so I've had experience with special needs dogs, medical and behavioral and have taken some classes on how to deal with these. I keep gated areas in front of all doors so when people enter and leave there is no chance of dogs escaping because the gate won't move until the outside door is closed. I've got a large fenced in backyard and no not leave dogs unattended. I have two husky mixes (escape artists) so I am more than familiar with runners and dogs who like to go exploring.
