Hello my name is Allison Meyerhoff. I have been pet/house sitting since I was 10 years old for family and friends. I have been pet sitting professionally since I got my drivers license at 16. I am 26. Currently I sit for 4 couples and am looking to add a few more.
I have experience with a wide range of animals. My experience includes really popular pets like cats and dogs, as well as snakes (large such as a burmese python named Indi to small such as a rubber boa named Julius Squeezer, my only venomous snake experience was a couple hog nosed snakes. Their venom is non threatening to humans.) lizards (iguanas, bearded dragons, russian legless, and a savanna monitor) song birds, freshwater fish, parrots(not much hands on experience with parrots or song birds, but willing to learn more) guinea pigs and pet rats. As well as hundreds of feeder insects. I am a farm girl and I have hands on experience with a wide variety of farm animals. This includes cows, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, guinnia fowl, peacocks, geese and ducks. My mom can't have cows milk, so we have alpine and lamancha milking goats. I milk them sometimes. I have also milked a cow.

One of the familys I currently house sit for has a border collie named Hondo and a terrier named Tittus. When I sit for them I enjoy going on walks with them and playing ball. Lots and lots of ball. I never had a dog that played fetch as a girl, so I enjoy it when I get the chance. We have to play with 2 balls because Titus's main mission is to steal the ball and kill it. Sometimes Titus nips me when we play. He is just so exited he some times misses the ball when he jumps for it to steal it from me. Its no big deal. I know he wasn't being mean. I just wash the cut with soap and off we go again. I am very practical that way. Animals bite, it happens. I only care if its serious. And by that I mean I can't just wash it off or put on a band aid and problem solved. The cost for services isn't set in stone because I normally negotiate with you on what to charge. It depends how many pets there are, distance, if the pet is aggressive and so on. I usually charge from $20-$70. If I am staying at your house while pet sitting I usually don't charge extra for walks as long as they are reasonable in length and difficulty. If all I'm doing is stoping by and taking them out for walks then we talk about how much. Im not sure what to charge for bathing, grooming or training. I've haven't been asked to do those yet.
