I LOVE animals!! Especially dogs and cats! I have had cats all my life, and until about 2 years ago, never had a dog! Now we have a lovely pit bull/great dane/grey hound/something mutt named Pete! He is great! . I worked at an animal hospital taking care of animals and had worked there from September 2006 to late 2008.  I took care of healthy and sick dogs, dogs with broken limbs, dogs with arthritis, blind and deaf dogs, diabetic pooches (having to administer insulin shots)...etc.  I saw all different types. I have had many Beta fish as pets in the past.  Currently, in my apartment I have a Leopard Gecko and three Fire Belly Toads. I dogsit whenever I get the chance and had been dogsitting for a neighbor's dog for about 5 years until I moved. I did things like just take him out for a walk and play and then feed him to staying at his house for a week or so taking care of him. I even trained him a little too...with easy commands like sit and stay.  I have petsit for many neighbors and friends.  I have even taken care of an African Grey Parrot for extended periods of time.  Parrots are quite a wonderful pet too!  All my life I have been told I'm an animal lover and do so well with them. I'm usually the person who is always with the pets at people's houses! It's hard to keep me away. I am aspiring to be a School Counselor and will most likely have a Therapy dog working beside me in appropriate instances! I can't wait!
