Elise baby sat for my 2yr old son a few times. Each time was in an office adjacent to where I was having a meeting, so even though the resources available to her were limited, she managed to keep a very active toddler occupied for a couple of hours, and managed to deal with a tantrum. She also brought some of her own supplies (stickers, crayons, coloring books, etc), which he enjoyed. My son seemed happy to see her each time.

Elise has been babysitting for us for 3 years. She is professional, punctual, and easy to get in touch with. She is GREAT with babies, very nurturing. She was great comforting our son with seperation anxiety. She sings songs, reads books with silly voices, and plays whatever silly game our 3 year old wants to play. She takes them to the park and runs them around. When we come home, I always get a thurough report of how the evening went. We couldn't get by without Elise!

Elise recently babysat for our two children -- 5.5 yrs & 2 yrs. Prior to her coming I was anxious about our younger one having separation anxiety...this was our first time using a sitter instead of grandma.
To my surprise, our son was at ease almost from the time Elise walked in through the door. Elise came prepared with ideas for interactive fun and kid friendly ideas. When we called in to check how the kids were doing, we found out they were having as much fun as they would at a play date!!!!
I would recommend Elise to anyone searching for a sitter who is professional, friendly, punctual, and kid approved. It made our evening so enjoyable to not have to worry about whether our kids were ok or not!!!
