I was a Veterinary Assistant/ Surgical Technician from 2014-2016 at an Animal Hospital in Virginia. I moved back home to Indiana in June with my lovely dog, Lyra Jane.
Daily at the Animal Hospital, I was responsible for: feeding (syringe included), medicating, cleaning, boarding, properly handling all sizes of animals, monitoring pre-op/intubated/post-op, extubating, shaving, nail trimming, and weighing.

I currently am a full-time caregiver to thirteen cats. What does that mean, you ask? I am responsible for pre and post-breakfast medications, subcutaneous fluid administration, and laser therapy. Feeding, cleaning of litter boxes/floors/tables/chairs, changing of beds/blankets/H2O dishes, restocking of medical supplies and inventory are also what I do on a daily basis for my feline friends.
Making sure they are happy and healthy is my priority :-)
