Hello! I am a pet care specialist living in West Roger’s Park. I spent this past year working at a no-kill animal shelter (Animal Care League) caring for dogs, cats, and rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, parakeets, and the occasional chicken. I got into animal care work through dog-sitting for various faculty members during my undergrad at Ball State University (overnight and drop-in). After graduating, I began pet sitting and dog walking for family and friends. From there, I started volunteering at a local animal shelter (On Angels Wings in Crystal Lake) walking dogs. I have never met an animal I didn’t love, and nothing is more rewarding to me than taking care of them. Whether it’s a newborn, a senior, or a special needs animal, I want to work with them!
