I grew up with all kinds of animals. My mother wanted to be a veterinarian so loving animals was a must. We either took in or fed every stray in the neighborhood. We always had cats, dogs, rabbits, or whatever else would come to the door. I learned compassion at an early age. My children and I have always volunteered at the local humane society and would sit or walk most animals in the neighborhood. I appreciate the unconditional love.
