Well I have had a passion for animals my entire life. I used to want to be a Vet and was an Animal Science Pre-Vet major for 3 years until my grades slipped to 3.2 GPA and you have to have a 3.25 to even apply and 3.5 to have a chance to get in. So I changed my major to General Studies with Emphasis in Animal Science, Agricultural Business, and General Sciences. I am planning on working at a Wildlife Conservation and Rehabilitation Center or something like that now that I have graduated. I have fostered orphan animals my entire life as well. My mother also has the passion I do and has raised me with this passion from a young age. I have raised everything from kittens and puppies to squirrels and opossums! I have tons of experience caring for my own pets as well. I have had cats and dogs, snakes, lizards, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, the whole nine yards. The only animal I am not okay with are spiders. Unfortunately, Spiders and I do not get along and I will not be able to care for them. Other than that, any other non-8 legged creature will be in good hands under my care! I also have a tiny bit of grooming experience (my mother is a groomer) however most of my experience is in shave downs and baths. I do not have my own clippers so the only service I can provide ontop of general care is just bathing. I worked at the Humane Society in Arkansas for about 8-9 months and during that time I was taught basic obedience training. I can work with your dogs on basic commands as long as you provide the treats. It is nothing fancy, just basic sit, stay, come, things like that.
