Madison B. Pet Care Provider in Manhattan, KS 66502

I am a current student at Kansas State University where I am in the Animal Science in Industry Major. I maintain a 3.5 GPA, and I am a member of National Honors Society and Pre-Vet club. I also currently work at the K-State Veterinary Health Center as a pre-vet student worker. While working there I have gained experience with medication and working with special needs and senior dogs. My past experience is a livelong resume with my household always having at least one furry family member running around. I have also worked at 3 different doggy daycare facilities.
The first daycare known as "Paws to Play" specialized in small breed dogs and 24/7 care.
The second daycare known as "Sydney's Pet Resort" had very high end boarding suites and also catered to cat and exotic animal boarding.
Finally when I moved to Manhattan for school I started working at what is now known as "Woof's Play and Stay" a wonderful and very personable doggy daycare.
All three facilities had grooming, training, and of course customer service areas where I also was able to gain experience. I also have recently become a dog owner myself to a wonderful adopted pup named Helios. No amount of experience can really prepare you for having your own baby you are responsible for, but so far I love him more than I thought possible!
Some other interesting things about me is I enjoy horse back riding and hiking with Helios. I have also worked as a horse back trail guide in Colorado gaining a new appreciation for the meaning of hard work. Finally I even got the amazing opportunity to study abroad in Thailand for a semester that added an entirely new range of experiences that have impacted me in an amazing way.
I pride myself in communication skills, responsibility, and an extremely caring and understanding nature.
