I am a sincere animal lover and always remember having pets growing up.  From my first parakeet, Petey, to Marmaduke the lovable mut to now helping with my friend's cat Logan, I have worked with all types of animals.  Along the way, I have had birds, a hermit crab, a dog, and have helped relatives take care of rabbits, a guinea pig, and varioius other animals.  My experience includes dog walking, reward systems (usually using food), changing cat litter boxes, cleaning fish tanks and changing water.  I have a little experience with larger birds (such as conures, African greys and cockatoos), but am more experienced with the smaller ones such as parakeets, canaries, finches, and cockatiels.
