About me
Hi everyone! My name is Victoria and I'm interested in being a pet caregiver. I love animals and i have 3 pets myself. I have 2 guinea pigs, one adopted from my job. My third animal is a kitten i adopted from my local animal shelter. I love all animals, and it comes from working at Petco, i see all types and sizes of dogs and animals. I want more experience in caring for dogs, i follow instructions well, and learn very quickly. I would be willing to stay overnight and to travel from Quincy to do overnight animal care. I can also provide several references if you would like to better get a sense of what kind of animal lover i am!

Petco Experience

I have lots of experience with small animals such as hairless rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, and mice. I work at Petco as a part-time employee as a cashier and a small animals handler, which requires me to clean habitats, transfer animals to temporary habitat while cleaning, feeding and providing fresh water. I know lots about the best natural products to better animal's life such as dental care, treats, different types of toys, weather appropriate apparel, food knowledge-canned & dry, and pet beds.

Pet-sitting experience

I also have cared for my cousin's long-haired chihuahua which included: Walking/running with the dog, feeding, giving fresh water and treats, playing with the dog, and changing potty pads.
I also have taken care of my boyfriend's grandma's animals which included: Walking her senior dog, feeding and giving fresh water, Letting out the two outdoor cats and back in, feeding them wet and dry food, and playing with them. I'm lucky to be surrounded with friends and family that have different types of pets. For instance, i have a neighbor who has 2 birds, a cockatiel and a green-cheeked conure for whom i buy bird toys and treats from time to time. I like to provide new toys and stimulation for animals that are not my own to see how happy they are when they wag their tails or feathers!
I also know how to give medication to rats and basic grooming for guinea pigs/rats/cat/dog.

Rates will vary:
Small animals i am willing to care for will cost anywhere from $40-55 for the day/overnight and can be in home or at your home.

Dogs:
Walking: $15/20hr
Overnight: $55-85/night (depending on if there is multiple dogs)

Cats: $65-80/night
*only at your home*
