Hi. My name is Tera. I live in Baltimore with my husband, a research scientist at a local University, and our three cats. I am currently a student majoring in psychology. I hope to go on to pursue a PhD or MD. I genuinely love animals and grew up having many pets, including cats, dogs, chickens, and fish.

I have been working as a paid pet care provider since I was a teenager. I am comfortable working with pets of all breeds, sizes, and age, as well as pets with special needs. I am skilled at administering medications (pills, insulin, eye drops, etc). I have also had a lot of experience working with rescue animals (abandoned kittens & puppies, feral cats, injured animals, etc).

Some of the services I have provided in the past as a pet sitter have included check-in visits, dog walking, and overnight & long-term care, both in my home and in the pet owner's home. (Unfortunately I am not allowed to have dogs in my current apartment so I cannot offer pet care in my home at this time). When I do a check-in or visit, I generally like to stay an hour to feed, take for a walk or let out (or scoop litter box), administer any medication, and play or give attention to your pet(s). A regular or short walk, or just a yard-let out during the day will include fresh water for your pet. For overnight sittings I can arrive by 6:30 PM and leave after the morning visit.

I know that finding a skilled pet care provider can be difficult to find. I strive to provide the highest level of care for your pet(s), as well as strive to meet your expectations.
