For the past six years, I have been working as a post-doctoral researcher in chemistry at the University of Maryland.   I am now between careers, and want to work as a pet caregiver while preparing for the exams necessary to become a pharmacist.   Although I have no prior experience as a professional caregiver, my experiences as a researcher have taught me to be very hardworking, detail-oriented, and dependable.   We have no pets of our own right now, but I grew up with three dogs, and like to care for all animals (well, maybe not bears...)   Our dogs were outdoor dogs, and that is bulk of my experience.  
I am open-minded to playing whatever games are interesting for the pet.   People describe me as being a very gentle and caring person, and I am opposed to using violence in disciplining pets.
