Barbara is the owner of Jumpin' Rumps, LLC professional dog walking and pet care service located in Annapolis, Maryland. She is an avid pet lover with over 20 years of personal experience caring for canines and felines. She currently owns three cats, one senior dog, and two parakeets.

Barbara worked in the private sector and the federal government for more than 25 years, primarily in the area of contract administration. After earning a Master's degree from The George Washington University, she parlayed her acumen into launching Jumpin' Rumps in 2012. She wanted to get out from behind a desk and spend her days getting dogs out from the confines of a house while their owners were busy at their offices. She provides her canine clients relief from boredom with mental stimulation and exercise in the great outdoors.

Jumpin' Rumps is bonded and insured and is a member of both Pet Sitters International (PSI) and the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS). A thorough background check is conducted annually by Sterling InfoSystems. Jumpin' Rumps is accredited by the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland. Barbara is certified by the American Red Cross in Dog First Aid and Cat First Aid and has also earned NAPPS certification as a professional pet sitter. To enhance her aptitude, she is completing the Dog Walking Certificate program to earn DN-DWC certification from DogNostics Career College.
