I have owned 3 dogs (2 labs and a golden-doodle). I love dogs, walking, talking, petting and taking care of them. I have a blind golden-doodle Molly at home. I have taught her hand targeting in order to guide her when she is loose. In order to make her feel safe when we give her a bath during the summer months we fill up an old hard plastic pool that we no longer use, let it sit in the sun so the water is comfortable and she knows where she is. As she's gotten older we've had to work with many things such as incontinence, skin tags, chronic ear problems which require weekly ear cleanings. I understand that dogs have different needs and sensitivities. Please let me know all about your dog so I can give them the best care possible.
I am willing to walk them and bathe them. I cannot shave them. I am willing to clip their nails if clippers are provided but it may have to be a work in progress as I want your dog to be feel comfortable and safe when they are with me. I will probably do two or three nails at a time based on how comfortable they seem with me. If you are worried about your dog being alone during the day and need someone to check-in, visit and walk them I can do that too! If you are planning to go on vacation and need someone to do all those things I can do that as well! Unfortunately my family and Molly need me at home too so I will not be able to stay overnight.
