I have lived in the Cloverly neighborhood in Silver Spring for the past 11 years. While living here, I was blessed to have my best friend with me. Maddi was a yellow lab that was 13 when she passed in the summer of 2009. I was 5 years old when she was born so it was very difficult adjusting to an empty house. I have always loved animals, specifically dogs. They are the most relatable of all pets and put a smile on my face. I now have an 8 month old yellow lab named Lady. She is quite the wild child with high energy, but I still love her. I also have two bearded dragons, one pacman frog, and one fighter fish. I have had animals such as hamsters in the past as well.
I'm attending my second year at Montgomery College in Rockville. I graduated at Blake High School in 2009 also. My major is Elementary Education. I would specifically like to become an art teacher.
When it comes to dog sitting, I have really only had one or two clients. The last time I dog sat, I spent about two or three nights in the clients apartment taking care of their dog while they were out of town. I was given specific directions and followed them.
I do have some allergies though. Being allergic to cats runs in my family. Strangely though, I developed a slight dog allergy a few years ago. It is not as serious as the cat allergy. My skin just gets a little rashy or itchey sometimes when I'm petting my dog or playing with her. It doesn't bother me at all.
