I have a Boxer and a cat. Live in a household with 1 dog, 3 cats a 3 bunnies and a couple of outside cats we feed. They are all my family. I love all animals I swear sometimes I talk to them and they know exactly what I am saying and talk back LOL!!!!! I am not a vet tech or anything but this might impress you a little, my background is actually in nursing I have been a Registered Nurse for 9+ years. One day my 2 dogs were wrestling like dogs do and my boxers mouth got stuck under the lab shepherd mix's collar and somehow pulled it really tight to the point we couldn't get a finger under to get it off. It was a thick nylon collar a knife wouldn't even cut it off. I believe we had to use channel locks to get it off. Throughout the process my dog lost his airway and my husband and I immediately started CPR chest compressions and mouth to mouth. After several minutes which felt like an eternity we brought him back. That was the worst experience ever and it was right before X-mas. So I know how important pets are to their families since I as well am such a strong advocate for animals. We have rescued birds, bunnies, cows you name it I will do it.
