I have loved animals since I was born (in fact my first word was the dog's name, before mama or dada!) and have always had them in my life. I served in the military and was fortunate enough to be in a small unit that trained and cared for a PTSD service dog while deployed. This also provided me with basic medical safety training for animals.

Since leaving the military I have taken several training classes focused on positive reward and training with two different dogs, so I am very adept at safe handling for both your pet and myself. My daughter is in school full time now, so I have a lot of free time and a bit of an empty nest syndrome!

I would love to care for any type of pet you have, and am comfortable with cats and dogs, other small furry animals, snakes and lizards, horses and other livestock (for lack of a better word... my chickens and ducks are pets too!) and birds. I have had experience caring for all the aforementioned pets, and certainly others I haven't listed!

I am happy to be flexible/negotiate pricing with you, I am mainly interested in having the opportunity to spend part of my day with animals again!
