Every year my aunt and her family would go away for a year in the summer and had to leave their 5 pets at home. I would go three times a day for an hour or two to feed who needed to be fed, let all animals out, change litter boxes, etc. I was also responsible for turning on the porch light at night, taking care of their pool, and other housekeeping tasks.
