Alex & Jenny here! We're a fun-loving, dog-sitting, house-renovating couple who would LOVE the opportunity to care for your pup! We are self-employed and work from home and we renovate old houses on the side. We usually bounce between our primary house and the house we're renovating so your dog will get a nice variety and 2 backyards to play in! Having dogs around is a great compliment to our life here and we are around full-time to supervise and entertain them. We have lived with dogs our whole life and we do dog training as a hobby (just ask us to show you some of our dog Maya's tricks some time haha). If you need a SAFE and FUN place with a LOVING home for your dog then you've come to the right place!

MEET MAYA:
Maya is a wonderful and sweet 9 year old rescue dog from California (lab mix). She is gentle and caring toward kids, people, and pets of all type. Maya loves having friends over and we're sure she will get along just fine with your pup(s).

LOCATION:
We are located near Grosse Pointe along the Detroit river and near several large parks. We are only a 30 second walk to the nearest park and only a few minutes walk to Grosse Pointe. If we happen to be at the house we're renovating it is also in the same neighborhood just a couple minutes away.

ABOUT MY HOUSE
The house sits on a double lot with a large fence-enclosed backyard. There is plenty of room for the dogs to run and play and lounge around. Maya's favorite past-time is to protect the backyard from squirrels and birds so I'm sure your doggie will also enjoy participating :-)

DAILY EXERCISE
We love to play in the back yard (weather permitting) and depending on the season we will also head out for a daily excursion to a nearby park. The dogs have use of the house and we let them out whenever they want to go outside (at least several times per day) so they can spend more time inside or outside depending on their preference.

INSIDE THE HOME
Inside the home, your dog will enjoy several nice cozy doggy beds and more dog toys than you can imagine. :-) We work from home so the dogs can hang out with us or they can play in other parts of the house / yard.

SECURITY
The fence-enclosed backyard provides total security so your dog will be safe and well protected.
