Hi. I love all animals, and I've had pets throughout my whole life. As far back as I can remember as a child, we first had a talking parakeet. I believe the goldfish came next, then the hamster. As we were growing up, we adopted a little black kitten from a litter that our neighbor's cat had. We named him Smokey, and he was SO playful, right on through most of his adult life! Years later, Dad brought home a beautiful bluepoint Siamese cat that had been running around his work for FOUR DAYS, no one able to catch him. My dad's gentle persuasion got him close enough to give him some food and drink, and Dad ended up bringing him home. We named him Mickey and loved him for years to come. Once on my own, I acquired a 65 gallon tank, and filled it with various tropical fish. Some time later, I adopted a beautiful orange and white stray cat that thought he was a dog! EVERYONE loved Louie, even those that weren't particularly "cat people", as he was quite the character! A few years after, I brought home a adorable Jack Russell terrier mix puppy, Darla, that became Louie's little sister. Years later, I adopted the cutest gray kitten. It's been16 years, and I STILL have her! I believe animals should be loved and taken care of. I even volunteered twice a week for two and a half years cleaning kitty cages at PetSmart in-store adoption group providing fresh litter, food and water. I also kept my friend's dog company twice a week when she was working. I absolutely love spending time with animals, and would enjoy spending time with yours!
