I love animals. Our pets are our fur babies and treat I mine as such and will yours too. I understand the concern of having anyone else care for your pet. My current dog has graduated from advanced obedience classes, I cared for my last dog from puppy through her final days. I groom my own dog from nails to teeth. I am comfortable giving medication (to non-biters of course), cleaning up pet potty mistakes that may happen during my visit, feeding, watering, etc. I volunteered for the Wildlife Rescue Center for a few years. I have no formal training in pet care, but do have 20+ years of caring for and spoiling my own pets. I am most comfortable and familiar with dogs. However, I can help out with almost any pet.

I work a full time job M-F and am looking to pick up some part time work. After work, possibly before work depending on location and time, and weekends. I do have a pet of my own so I could not be away every evening; however a stop on the way home is definitely possible . I have an elderly parent I help out on occasion as well so not all of my “off” time is free. But can be worked around depending on what you need. .

I prefer a meet and greet both with you and your pet(s) to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. Pricing varies, we can discuss.

Rates published are based on one pet, but vary dependent on care required (additional charges for medications or other special care, etc). Rates may go up depending on your location, and length of job. “Check In” $10 typically 15 min, for when your pet just needs a quick potty break or fresh food and water or meds and you can’t get home to do it. A “Visit” $20 is 30 minutes- food/water/potty, play or snuggles. “Long visit” $30 is 60 min -same as “Visit” with more time. Bathing/grooming -If your dog tolerates grooming well in your home, I may be able to provide a basic wash. You supply your pets preferred shampoo, supplies, etc for the additional bathing rate. Blow dry with brushing is additional fee. Rate published is starting rate for dogs up to 20 pounds. I am not a professional groomer- I can’t treat heavily matted dogs, do flea treatments, etc. If your dog just needs a bath and you don’t have the time or care to do it yourself, I can help. :). Dog walking for leash trained dogs -weekends only typically.
