Fully licensed and insured, Bozeman Canine Cardio is a local dog walking and exercise service that provides your dog(s) with fun, stimulating daily activity while you are away at work (or when you simply do not have time to exercise your dog). Depending on your dog's age and level of fitness, you may choose from a variety of activities to ensure he or she is getting the individual attention and exercise they deserve. There is no need to drop or pick your dogs up, as I will come to your house at your convenience.
Owner and founder Lindsay Swan has lived in Bozeman for five years. Before moving to Bozeman, she attended the University of Montana where she majored in biology/natural history. During college, she volunteered with the Wind River Bear Institute in Lolo, MT where she helped train and care for Karelian Bear Dogs. She also spent a summer interning at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Florida doing offshore cetacean research and assisting at the sea turtle rehabilitation center.
Since graduating college in 2009, she has worked as a veterinary assistant at Gallatin Veterinary Hospital, a Montana Outdoor Science School volunteer, and a barista at Starbucks before starting Bozeman Canine Cardio LLC.
As an avid trail runner and “mom” to two dogs of her own, Duke ( a Chesapeake Bay Retriever) and Beef (an English Bulldog), she is a firm believer in daily exercise and canine fitness. She also knows the activity needs of different breeds span a wide spectrum from a hike up the “M” to a short walk around the block. Whether you own an energetic German Shorhair or a lazy bulldog, she looks forward to helping your dog stay active, fit, and happy.
