I am a mature, responsible person that loves all kinds of animals. I've always been the 'pet-sitter' or home watcher for friends, family, and referred by many. I have 2 cats of my own, have cared for many animals over the past 30+ years. My initial pet/home sitting started by watching for my school teachers as a teenager. Since I've always watched friends, family, and business associates pets that included the following: cats, dogs, horses, sheep, iguanas, and fish. I've never had a problem in all the years I've been watching for any animal or home. I'd say my weakness is saying 'no, that I cannot be available' as I feel I am the next best connection beyond the pets owner. I've adjusted my schedule during 4th of July to be sure I was home prior to any firework activity as animals tend to not like such activity.
