Hi there! I am 24 years old and a recent UNCA Graduate who has grown up around Asheville. I am a huge animal lover with diverse and extensive experience with cats, dogs, various reptiles, fish, birds, insects, rabbits, and other small mammals. I've had a hands-on role in caring for and rehabilitating animals since I was a small child. I first started pet-sitting for neighbors when I was in high school, and continued to pet-sit for family members and friends throughout college. I was also a volunteer for Asheville Humane Society and Brother Wolf Animal Rescue under it's original ownership. I currently live in a smaller apartment with no pets of my own (for the first time ever!), so I always love to spend quality time with other people's animals. I can come to your house several times a day for feeding and walks, or if needed I can possibly arrange to keep a smaller animal in my home for a short period of time (case-by-case basis). My complex has a private dog park and I am happy to take dogs on active runs/walks if needed. I am happy to play with your animals, engage with them, or give them their space if that's what they prefer. I have been practicing social distancing guidelines and self-quarantining, and have had no contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with Covid or exhibited symptoms. Note: I am open to negotiating rates depending on number of pets, complexity of care (e.g. administering meds at specific times vs. casual check-ins and feedings) and the distance I will have to travel (if you are closer to my home I will charge less than if I have to drive 30+ minutes each way).
