I grew up in a home where we were always rescuing animals. I'm the one who stops traffic to get the turtle out of the road. I currently have two rescue dogs (80lbs each) and six rescue cats (I live on about 3 acres on the river...everyone has plenty of space).

Throughout my life, I've had quarterhorses, hamsters, dogs of all sizes, cats, lovebirds and a rabbit. I'm comfortable handling snakes and reptiles and while I really don't like spiders, I could care for a tarantula as long as I don't have to pick it up. EEK!

I'm an active licensed real estate broker in NC with inactive licenses in VA and GA - I have background checks available in all three states. I live in Blounts Creek and am in Chocowinity and Washington daily. I can do check-ins and walks or overnights as needed, and if you have a dog that particularly loves car rides, we can load up in my Suburban and head to a distant park or back to the sandy beaches on my property.
