I adore animals, however dogs would have to be a favorite. I have 2, a Shetland Sheepdog (a.k.a Sheltie) and a mini shih tzu. I have cared for and loved on my own dogs as well as my neighbor's and friend's dogs. I can take them to the groomer, vet, park, etc. I would make sure to feed, change water frequently, walk, play and most importantly love on your animals!
