Hi,
I have a soft spot for pets and love being around them. I grew up in a home that always had cats and dogs and sometimes other species.
A month after I went away to college, I adopted for first cat which I had until she past away form cancer. I have adopted five cats, losing one to cancer, but one lived to fifteen and the other was twenty when I lost her and still have two.
I have brought two dogs into my home. The first had been abandoned on a bike trail and I had her for fifteen years. She was a sweetheart even though she was a bit like Marley (Marley & Me), very high strung, but completely lovable and loyal.

My fourteen month old pup is a Great Dane and we spend a lot of time together. Since she came into my life almost a year age, I realized how much I enjoy walking her and spending time outside. I'm a different person now. I worked the production field in an office for over twenty years and now find it a little suffocating. She's a large dog and has to walk and I've learned to deal with the weather.

My two kitties prefer to stay in and spend a lot of time sleeping, but do still like to play. My fifteen year old is prissy and likes the litter box cleaned often and wants her food when she wants it. My twelve year old likes to eat and still plays like a kitten. They both love attention and to be scratched.

I love my pets and have cared for them through surgery, sickness, accidents and every day basic needs including feeding and cleaning up after them. I have also walked and cared for other peoples dogs and checked in on and cleaned up after kitties.

I have references I can provide; two veterinarians, a dog trainer and someone I have dog walked for. My dog has been certified in beginner, intermediate, canine good citizen and tricks & clicks classes.
I hope to be considered for future jobs.
