Twila recently helped me out for a few months as an exceptional pet sitter, taking very good care of my three fur babies. Everything went very well until the last weekend I asked her to check up on the dogs for a few days (Saturday evening-Monday morning). I had noticed via my alarm system app that tells me whenever doors are opened/closed that no one had been in the house at 11:30pm. I was surprised and texted Twila to ask how the dogs were. She proceeded to lie to me and say she had been there and the dogs were fine that evening. I had told her before the weekend care was arranged if she couldn't go Sat evening that was fine, go early Sunday morning due to it being a holiday weekend. But instead of saying she didn't make it to the house but that she would go early the next morning, she was dishonest about it. In order to prevent me from having to return home being over an hour away I luckily had a neighbor who went and checked on the dogs for me. I left out cash for Twila which she proceeded to take the full amount when she went to my house the next morning to take care of my dogs. I was greatly disappointed about this, and if I hadn't been told she was moving, would have no longer asked for her services due to mistrust.
