I absolutely love being around animals. Who could ever resist giving love and attention to such an innocent and loyal creature?. I began by taking care of 3 dogs for people I nannied for and I completely fell in love. They never asked to walk the dogs because I provided child care but I could not resist taking the dogs for walks. The family was very busy with two new children, I wanted to make sure the dogs (Jazmine, Baxter, Sam) were taken care of. I took them on walks, to the dog park, and gave them medicine when they needed. The family saw my love for the animals and asked to begin watching them when they leave town. Thanksgivings, Spring breaks, and summer breaks for 3 years I cared for those fur babies. It wasn't always easy though. One of their dogs Sam was very old and going blind, so I had to help him up and down stairs, using the bathroom, and keeping clean when he lost control of his bowels. But I was very thankful to care for him and wouldn't of changed a thing.
The other dog Jazmine was getting older, she was jealous of the new infants and they decided to take her to the pound. She is a very sweet dog but snapped at the children when they were too rough. I had grown a strong bond with Jazmine and I couldn't see her go, so I decided to adopt her. She brightens my day everyday by just showing unconditional love and always being there for me through rough times. Jazmine was also run over by a car and needs help getting up and down stairs and sometimes just needs help getting off the floor. Jazmine as of July 2016 was diagnosed with bladder cancer. So I have no problem cleaning up accidents even if it happens multiple times a day because they need to know you are there for them and love them even if they cant control themselves anymore.
I have I also have watched multiple family members dogs. More recently I watched two large pitbulls (Duchess and Galaxy) at my house for month while the owners prepared to move. I watched a 4 month old puppy (Sonny) for two weeks in May 2016. I believe I would make an amazing candidate to watch your pets because of my unconditional love, passion, and I simply just want to make sure the dog knows they are still loved while mom and dad are away.
