I made the mistake of logging into my old account and not my new account to post jobs. Yes, I opened a new account because Sittercity was offering a month for free. And, because of this minor issue, this lady called me a "scam". She told me that whatever the misunderstanding, that she "personally did not care". I was trying to hire her to babysit my toddler while I unpacked the rest of my house. If she felt her safety at risk, she could have asked to meet publicly for the first time. I would have been more than happy to accommodate. I am not completely sure who is at more risk, the employee showing up to a person's house. Or, allowing a stranger into your home and into a very private and personal space.
