I have been an animal lover all my life and have had many pets of my own, but also have cared for them for other people as well. I have a lot of experience caring for pets: I cared for my neighbor's dog and two cats with basic feeding, giving fresh water, walking the dog and cleaning up waste and litter boxes, playing with them along with giving them an lot of love and attention. I had a job walking a medium border collie for a lady that I met through care.com. I would let him outside in the back yard to use the bathroom and apply a natural insect repellent before walking him, clean up after him, give him a treat when returning home, and also giving and getting a lot of love and attention to and from him. I presently care for my best friend's two cats when she and her husband go out of town or if they are just busy. In addition to the regular care for them, I also administer medications to one of them. I love them just like they are my own and they love me as well.
I have been working for a pet care company since April of this year and also do pet care on my own. I have cared for many dogs, cats, and fish, and have done many overnight stays with pets as well as house sittings. My other services include mail retrieval, plant watering,and light housework.
I know most dogs are loving, loyal, and love attention, while most cats are independent and some want to be left alone some, or all of the time. I also know some cats can be aggressive, whether or not you try to pet them, but then there are the ones that are very loving and affectionate. I know dogs can be aggressive to people and to each other as well, but so far I have not had one that was aggressive to me.
Taking care of pets brings me a lot of joy, and I appreciate the opportunity to bring joy to the pets as well.
