Emelie was an incredible help as she assisted my mother-in-law in caring for my two-year-old and five-year-old sons for 12 days as my husband and I took a special trip for our anniversary. She worked nearly every day either for solely the morning or just about the whole day, taking the kids in the pool; accompanying them to the library, playground, grocery story, or restaurant; bathing them and getting them fed and down for naps; and overall helping wherever it was needed. She even brought over her younger brother’s toys to give the boys more variety. Most importantly, she gave my mother-in-law the confidence she needed to be able to watch her two young grandchildren, who live across the country and who she had never watched on her own for more than a single day, for 12 days! She was reliable and made a great connection with our boys, to the point where they didn’t overly miss us at all despite the long time we were away. I would highly recommend Emelie to anyone and would hire her again in a heartbeat.
