I am currently the owner of two wonderful dogs, a senior English Setter and a sweet, talented, well-trained Labrador Retriever. My experience includes 25 yrs as a pet owner of dogs, cats and fish, 7 years experience as a service dog puppy raiser, puppy/dog sitter and 10 years of obedience training which includes instruction in, basic obedience, rally obedience and musical freestyle, with a variety of dog breeds. I currently assist in obedience instruction and have my own musical freestyle class.
The majority of my experience with pet care and training developed through volunteer work with reputable organizations and businesses. My volunteer work has afforded me opportunities to successfully care for multiple pets in my home and pet owner homes.
As a supervisor with 15 years of experience, I recently left my corporate supervisory position of 8 years to pursue my passion in pet care and training. Providing loving and attentive care and training for cats and dogs from 8 weeks of age through 20 years of age, has prepared me to care for pets with a variety of medical conditions, including pancreatitis, kidney, thyroid, ear infections, megasophagus, SIBO & IBD.
