My name is Casey Kohl. I am 31, employed part-time, and working towards getting back into school next year. I just moved out here from Hawai'i. I have a 9 year old son Gabriel. His mom graduated from University of Hawai'i, and got a job at white sand missile range. Gabriel's mom and I are not together, but we are family and support each other. All three of us are pet lovers. Back in Hawai'i, we had lots of property, and lived right below a large forest. All in all, we had seven dogs, two cats, and two community horses (everybody took care, and rode them.)
Our dogs were Ano' .......(nurturer, took care of all the dogs and cats. When my son was born, he would sit outside the front door and stand guard), Piko' ...........(mama's boy, very spoiled, forever a child, pretty sure piko' and ano' were boyfriends too), Ki'ko'........ (renamed 'pee-poo" by my son. Very lovable fat little puppy) Chico .......(the hyper little tough guy, eventually became mama's boy after Piko' passed), Spooky (the secret Casanova, Black lab/mix with bright blue eye's, used to sneak out to visit the ladies- also responsible for the next two...) Huna......(the runt of the litter, and my little guy. Black pitbull/labmix, bright blue eyes. Very mischievous, but loyal to the end) and Lisha........(Huna's sister. Brendel lab/pit mix. Super sweet and mild mannered).....................Our two cats were 'shen 'shen .....(smokey colored wise old hunter. He spent most of his week in the forest, but would come rest for a few days after a long adventure) and Crow......(snow white, little wild guy. Showed his love by attacking! lol)
When we had to move we were lucky enough to have family that lived in the area to take most the dogs. Huna and Lisha were adopted by a sweet old man.
Being here now, I don't feel set up enough to provide a good stable environment for a dog or cat yet. It took almost all of my savings to move here.
Currently I have a part-time job, with a flexible schedule. I am trying to find other means of income though, so I can establish myself better, and save for school next year.
Very good with animals. Have always had good awareness of boundaries, have never been attacked (by a dog,,,cats are a different story!)
I would be happy to meet with you and your Dog or cat (or other animal) Happy to go on walks, and hikes.
I do not have a car yet but on weekends, or if told in advance, I can get a ride.
