Hi, I'm Carmen; a current program director for a maternal and child health agency, an animal lover and advocate. Growing up I always knew that I wanted to do something with animals even if my career path was different. This is how my pet-sitting services started. Growing up I took care of my friends pets as well as my family members and when the time came to start college I ended up working for the New York Dog Spa and Hotel in the city of Manhattan. Thanks to them I have over 7 years of experience taking care of dogs (big and small). I learned about some breeds, proper caring, and dog walking. After working for the New York Dog Spa and Hotel I started my own pet-sitting services in my home and everything has been great since. When your pets are with me, know that they will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. Even though I currently work full time, pets receive all of the care and attention that they can get from me; including 3 walks a day (early morning, evening and night time before bed). I currently live with my 22 year old sister (a college student) and my 2 year old son. I do ask that pets are good with children and they are also good with staying home alone when needed. Your pet will receive double the care from my sister and myself. We are very close and help each other with everything. I love being a pet sitter because it gives me the opportunity to meet and bond with so many new pets and their owners. I enjoy all the different personalities of our client’s pets and it’s rewarding when an animal loves seeing you when you walk in the door. I’ll spoil and love on your fur babies as much as I can while I’m caring for them. Currently, I can only offer pet care in my home for day and overnight. I cannot offer pick-ups and drop-offs at the time. I can't wait to meet you and your fur-babies soon!!
