Hi, my name is Katherine Jackson. I have a plethora of experience caring for a variety of animals. I have cared for animals for over half my life. I owned a rabbit for years.  Everything in relation to his care I was responsible for.  I played with him, fed him, and ensured he received enough exercise.  I currently own a kitten.  He has special needs and I am completely responsible for his care.  Currently I am working with him on trying new foods.  I want him to get used to get used to a variety of foods so he’ll be open to different textures and a variety of proteins. My kitty has allergies to a majority of environmental allergens so; I am used to keeping a pristine place and ensuring his comfort. In addition throughout the week I administer allergy shots to alleviate his symptoms. His injections and special food are all done under the supervision of his vet.   I'm his mommy, playmate and human best friend. In addition I occasionally pet sit for my friends’ birds.  I also ensure they get enough exercise by letting them out of their cage supervised.  I was a volunteer at a no kill shelter in California. The shelter was called Happy Tails. Their philosophy is every animal deserves to have a forever home.
