I grew up in flushing, queens and also lived in Colombia for 3+ years. My favorite childhood memories are always those of encountering animals in the forest or lakes in the small town were I lived in Colombia. From dangerous to harmless creautres, I love them all. I have had dogs, cats, fish, reptiles and birds as pets for as long as I can remember. I taught a parrot to sing rancheras at 8 years old! I am an only child of a single mother so a pet was always by my side, keeping me company and teaching me responsability. My life has guided me to become an animal rights activist and to share a friendship with people working for ASPCA and my 12+ year bestfriend who is on her way to become a vetenery assistant
