My name is Joann, I am 33 years old and I have 10+ years of experience in dog walking and animal sitting. I've worked at the Peninsula Humane Society SPCA for over 2 1/2 years as a Veterinarian Assistant/Technician in the surgery clinic and various other departments. I've also worked at the Mid-Peninsula Animal Hospital in Menlo Park for over 6 years also as a Vet Assistant/Tech assisting in medical procedures, giving medications, administration, injections, subcutaneous fluids, and specializing in the tender, loving, and care of animals. I am currently in school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician.

I have two dogs of my own, "Kona" and "Bella". Kona is a 10 year old Pit Bull Staffordshire terrier mix, and Bella is a 4 year old Chihuahua Jack Russell. I also have two cats, "Ranger" and "Kya". Ranger is a 12 year old three-legged brown tabby, and Kya is a 3 year old Siamese. When I was a Vet Tech at the Peninsula Humane Society SPCA, I rescued Kona when she was only 2 months old. First, I fostered her for three days and fell absolutely in love with her. She has the sweetest temperament and is so kind to anyone and everyone she encounters. All of my pets get along with each other and everyone in my household.

I feel that I am a reliable, dependable, and responsible person to walk your dog/dogs while you are at work, on vacation, away for weekends, on business, on holidays, or out of town. Helping animals and caring for them is such a reward. I know that I would take such great care for your animals like they were my own with al the tender, loving, and care that an animal deserves.
