My name is Michelle Maldonado and I have loved animals pretty much from birth! I used to nurse baby chicks as a child and rescued a pet hamster in high school as well as a stray cat. But it wasn't until I got my baby girl Mia (6 pound Yorkshire Terrier) 4 years ago that i realized that I am practically OBSESSED with dogs. Prior to my dog I did a lot of research, read books, spoke to trainers, and different breeders. I learned about many different breeds and can almost always figure out what breed a dog is (otherwise I will probably come close). Exactly 1 year ago i rescued an abused Yorkie/Chihuhua mix from an abusive home, Amy. In a nutshell, I am that "Crazy Dog Lady" your friend makes jokes about. I work full time as a social worker but would love to make some side money doing something as enjoyable as caring for your 4 legged best friend.
