Hi there! I'm a 35 year old Syracuse University graduate & published playwright who recently moved to Chicago from NYC. I'm a responsible, reliable animal lover with 10+ years of professional pet care & housesitting experience, including boarding, overnight pet/house-sitting in clients' homes, doggie day care & drop-in visits.

I'm work remotely as a writer, and I also do sales/marketing consultant for start-ups and SMBs, so while you're away, I will be with your fur babies 24/7 and have LOTS of time for walks, playtime, cuddles and attention throughout the day!

After graduating college, I spent years working as a live-in nanny and then, personal assistant, to HNW/high-profile clients in NYC/Hamptons, which led to a TON of pet care & house-sitting opportunities. I am very experienced with senior dogs, pups with separation anxiety or medical conditions requiring meds (oral & injection), and puppies who are still learning housebreaking & behavioral training. I also have a lot of experience housesitting for clients with luxury properties, though you definitely don't need to live in the Taj Mahal to book me-just give me a sweet pup to hang with and that's all I need! :P

I have a squeaky clean background check, and am happy to provide multiple, STELLAR verifiable references from long-term clients. NOTE: I just re-ran background check on this site, and I know when you first do it, it takes 2-3 days to appear, in which case, I have current background checks on multiple other pet care/child care sites that I can share

MOST IMPORTANTLY: I'm an engaging, attentive, ACTIVE sitter who loves the play, cuddles, and company just as much as your pet does...if not more! :P I am the polar opposite of a "walk em, feed em, leave em" sitter, and I think every sit should be a great experience for ALL involved- pet, sitter, AND owner. I want to make you as comfortable as possible prior to leaving, through your return. We can start with a phone/video chat, and I'm happy to set up a time for a "meet-and-greet" so you and your pet can meet me in person prior to the sit. NOTE: I had covid back in April and currently have the antibodies, though I am still taking all precautions (masks; social distancing; essentially self-quarantining)
