I am a current master's student at the University of Rochester (studying literary translation, from German to English). I love dogs and have always had them at home, and especially love taking them for walks - it's a great excuse to take a break from studying and go outside. I used to petsit for my piano teacher when she went on vacation, she had a dog and a cat. I was responsible for going there two to three times a day to take the dog out, feed both animals, and stick around and socialize with them for a while so they didn't get lonely. I also rode and cared for horses for many years, mucking stalls, scrubbing water buckets, and currying out a winter coat are all very familiar to me.
