I have had numerous pets my whole life. We've had three dogs in our family at all times, most of whom were Shelties. We've also had at least one cat. For the past two years, we've been raising three pigs. I've kept numerous fresh-water aquariums and I've cared for a fantastic chinchilla named Winchester for the past ten years. Winchester and the fish have come with me to my apartment in Plattsburgh, so now I'm available to take care of other people's pets! If you're looking for heavy-duty pet sitting, my mother is the owner of High Peaks Alpacas, an alpaca farm located in Jay, NY. She has about 20 alpacas in her care and over the years I have taken care of the entire farm for extended periods while she has been away. This included stall cleaning, feeding, and shots. I've had experience with shearing and transportation too, so I'd say i'm pretty comfortable with working with animals in any way!
