Hello! I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Jessica Iodice and I will be going into my junior year at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. I am known for being kindhearted, enthusiastic, friendly, energetic, and a quick learner. I love being able to help others out whether its babysitting or doing community service, I am able to do something that hopefully benefits others. I am an experienced babysitter and for the families that have allowed me to watch their pets, have given more experienced to learn from. For those who I have given me the chance to watch their pets I was able to walk them, feed them, give them any medication that was necessary for them to take, along with giving the animal love. I am an animal lover; you can probably see me on the streets rescuing stray animals at any given moment. I am no stranger to taking care of animals since I myself have an 11 month old lab who is so energetic that she doesn't even know what to do with herself. If my family and I wanted someone to watch/take care of her, we hope they would be kind and treat her with love. Which is the same mindset that I have when I am caring for others pets. I am also experienced with caring for animals that have been abandoned, abused, starved, and highly depressed. For a few years and every so often when I have the time now, I volunteer at the No Kill Animal Shelter in Elmsford called Pets Alive. I would donate old toys, food, money, along with my time to help care for the animals and give them that extra love that they deserve. I've been given the chance to see different animals that came from upsetting backgrounds. Having that chance to volunteer at an animal shelter gave me a wide range of knowledge to help improve the way I care for my pet along with others. I love animals and being able to experience an animal returning there love back to you is very rewarding. It shows me that they trust me, what more can you ask for from that.
