I have been caring for a variety of pets over 25 years starting both for family/friends and shelter and rescue pets and now primarily for over 7 years for pet owners needing short and long term pet care. I have stayed current on animal first aid care and just was re-certified with the Red Cross for CPR/First Aid and also in animal emergencies and disaster care. I have worked with rescue and shelter animals continously which has included abuse, neglect, aggression and health problems. I have a strong dedication to caring for and working with rescues so they find their loving permanent family. Most of the pets I care for have been rescues and shelter adoptions. On a personal note I had a rescue Collie (Barkley) who was abused and withdrawn that I worked with & then until he passed away at 15+ years old I took care of him with arthritis, tummy problems and age related issues. I had gone though him being ill with Vestibulitis which is a very hard disease for both your dog and you to go through. Also had to take care of my cat who had both FIV and kidney disease which included shots and IV fluids daily. I have taken care of several cats & dogs needing home medical care (Seizures, kidney issues, dementia, hip problems, cancer, digestive issues,blindness and many more illness or ailments) My experience in the last 7 years is with care of peoples pets has been a wide range from daily walking and feeding through daily medications and after surgery or sickness care. I also help with daily care needed for new additions to your family and for special needs for senior pets or pets with ailments and orthopedic issues.
 I also am more then able to take your pets to vet visits or groomers if needed and for extended care for vacations etc...
 I mix affection with whatever training that you may use and whatever your pets routine is which makes most pets content pets if their routine stays the same. I believe in keeping whatever course of daily schedule and habits that you do with them a constant habit for me to keep up. I believe most pets do well when they are separated from their owners with daily visits for extended vacations in their own environment at home where they are most comfortable or with me at my home kept on their daily regiment that they are use to. Having their owners away should be the only change in their routine except for the extra TLC they will be getting from me as well. Additional references from past and present families available.
