Hello! I am a devoted friend of our furry family members and would love to care for your cat or dog (I would consider other animals as well). My own fur family is made up of 7 cats and 2 dogs--yes, I spend a great deal of time vacuuming! I have always had pets beginning with hermit crabs and hamsters and gradually moving into a life with cats and dogs. All of my animals have been rescued/strays, a fact that speaks to how much my heart goes out to the wellbeing and humane treatment of our pets. In the past, I even volunteered as a transport person for rescued dogs, which included keeping the dogs in my home until arrangements could be made for the next leg of their journey to a forever home. I walk my own dogs, Jack and Calvin, three times per day, dole out treats to them, and lend a "gourmet" touch to their boring dry dog food as often as I can. The seven cats are treated to canned food on a regular basis and I seem always be engineering some new throne upon which they will sleep; cats are infinitely discriminating about which sleeping area will suit them one day to the next. :) I am good with picking up dog poo and scooping litter boxes until they're free of even the tiniest clump. And, perhaps the most beneficial quality of a pet sitter I have to offer is that I genuinely love each and every animal as if he or she were my own. I will interact with your dog or cat to their liking (i.e. dangle and drag a string--or the always fun laser light!-- around for a cat until he tires of it; play fetch or run with your dog and pet them to their heart's content).
