I am a Christian woman who is actively dedicated to my Church, and I've had a love and respect for Critters of any description all my born days.

I've had numerous pets throughout my life: finned, furred, feathered, scaled, and prickled,

There are no pet companions that I have a fear of or am adverse to, including arachnids and snakes.

I did have a wonderful (but sadly short) job with a combined Veterinary Clinic/Pet Store, where I pretty much RSM the store during my shift, but would assist in the Clinic & Kennel when needed.

I so enjoyed helping Pet Parents with their choices of Critters & critter supplies.

And whenever I was unsure on a particular answer, I would always recommend the local Library to my Customers, where books can be found on the care & feeding of any pet partner you choose.

As the work was only per diem, I had to (regretfully) seek more consistent employment.

But I've never lost my love for animals.

At one point in my past, I was a home to what I referred to as my "Exotic Mini Zoo", consisting of: a mini lop-eared Bunny, 2 Sugar Gliders, a Hedgehog, a Ferret, a fast-growing Garter Snake, 2 red-eared slider Turtles, a 3-and-a-half-foot Green Iguana, a foot-long, rather heavy Goldfish (Goldzilla), and a Yellow-Fronted Parrot who had belonged to my deceased grandparents; all at roughly the same time.

But the care of that many Critters can not be shirked upon, and as health issues began arising, I had to be realistic.

As the Furries passed away, I did not go about to replace them. The Turtles are now happily splashing about in a pond at an Animal Rescue/Placement Agency (used to be a petting zoo) in Michigan; the Garter Snake is finally " outside the box" out in Maumee Bay State Park (recommended by the Animal Rescue Staff), and the Green Iguana has been placed with a Petting Zoo in Tennessee.

Right now, I have another Goldfish who appears to be following the fin-steps of his large predecessor, Goldzilla.

And I am now in a position where I can be available to care for Pets when the Pet Parents are away.
